This is my second post of the day!
I don't think that has ever happened, but they do say that theres a first for everything. I had hoped to post this card earlier, but life gets busy and other things pop up needing more immediate attention. It's here though and isn't to late to play along with the Challenge so yay :)
The Challenge this week over at Merry Monday is to create a Christmas card with Candy Canes.
When I first saw the challenge I didn't think I owned any stamps that had candy canes in them, but then after I looked through my collection I found a couple images that did. At first I didn't want to use this stamp (the one used for this card) however I though that if I paired him with one of his friends from this stamp set it would look so much better. Now to find pattern paper that matched...well this was actually an easier task then I had at first thought it would be. I actually found a couple really good options, but I went with my first find and my gut instinct.
This card is adorable. I had wanted to use more non traditional Christmas colours however I always seem to go back to the reds and greens and white, because I love them.
Im going to start you off first with the image itself all coloured and ready to go!
I love these little guys.
My markers are running out of ink so the colouring looks a little blotchy.
Here's a view of the card from the front!
