Stocking Tags

Thank you for stopping by!  I am excited to be back to share with you something this isn't a card.  

I know that this is a couple months late, but better late than never.

Last year around Christmas time we got new stocking for the fireplace so that they all matched.  They were super mismatched before, so my parents thought that some unison would look more put together.  The only trouble with this was that last Christmas we had a hard time deciphering which one belonged to whom, so I decided to make some cute tags for them so that everyone knew who's was who's, until we can hopefully get them embossed this coming Christmas.  I am very proud of the way that the tags turned out, and how pretty they look on the fireplace hanging on the stockings.

Here's a look at all of them...Yes you're seeing that right even our fur babies (Dice and Smokey) have stockings...

Here's all of them attached to their stockings hanging on the fire place...Smokey needs a new stocking next year as little Zoe will be using his from now on!...

To finish them all off and to ensure that they last I tossed them through my laminator to help protect them from bending, and falling apart because of the heat of the fire place.  Everyone was very happy with how they turned out.

Supplies Used

Hole Punch - used to punch a hole in the top of the tag to put the string through

Ranger Matte Medium - used to adhere the snowflake to the tag front

Double Sided Tape - used to attach the pattern paper to the tag front

Cuttlebug Machine - used with the dies to cut a couple different pieces of the tags

MFT Snowflake Die - used to cut out the snowflakes on the tag front

MFT Tag Die - used to cut out the tag (not an exact product, but cannot find the one I used without the pierced boarders)

White Ribbon - used to attach the tags to the stockings

Peel Offs (stars and circles) - used the stars from here, and the negative space that is the lights on the trees I used those circles on these tags

Peel Off Borders - used between the 2 pattern papers to soften the transition from one to the other

Silver Letters - used to put names on the tags (no the exact product that I used, but linked to something similar)

White Cardstock - used for the base of the tag

Red Shimmer Paper - used to cut the snowflake out of

Recollection - Sugar Plum Papers - used for the pattern papers for the front of the tag (cannot find a link for this product, however I purchased it at Michaels Canada)
