Mojo Monday #392 and Bellarific Friday Challenge

Its Sunday Funday and I hope that all of you are having fun enjoying this nice weather.
The weather is warming up, and spring is here, it's perfect weather for enjoying some sunshine, and getting outdoors.

This weekend I was off work :) Yay!!!  Friday, Saturday and Sunday, all basically revolved around
all things cards and I cannot wait to share this card with you!

I had a friend ask if I could make a card for her to give to her niece for her birthday, and I thought what better way to make one then to use a sketch for it.
I decided to followed along with the Mojo Monday 392 sketch challenge.

Here's the Sketch that I used for my card.

I took it a step further and knew that if I used a current Stamping Bella stamp that I would be able to enter it into the challenge for the Bellarific Friday.  They used the words "Birthday Wishes" for the challenge this week, and you just create a card that fits in this!

I am currently loving sketch challenges as I sometimes struggle with layouts, and these sketch challenges take away a lot of the struggle to come up with a layout.  I had already cut out the image and matted it when I decided I should look and see if I could use it for this challenge, and it came together very nicely.  Its actually one of my favourite cards currently.
I coloured the image first (which usually I don't like doing, because it sometimes is difficult to find paper to match) and was able to find paper that fit with the colours perfectly.  From there the card basically built itself.  I even personalized it with the words "Niece".

Here's the front of the card...

Here's a side view of my card...

And lastly, here is the image itself coloured...

I hope that you all like my card!
Hope you have a fabulous weekend too!
