Merry Monday Challenge #173

Hey everyone!
I know it's been a while since I've been on here but that is about to change.  The weather is changing and it't getting cooler so I am going to be spending a lot more time in my scrapbook nook creating up a storm since Christmas is just around the corner.  I always seen to create the best when the weather is cold and there is a candle burning.

I thought that I would put myself back into the grove by playing along with a Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge.  When I first read the challenge I was totally at a loss as to what I was going to do to bring the theme alive.  I looked throughout my stamp binder (where I have all of my stamps "stamped" on a page) and found a couple great stamps that I had hoped would work.  The first one I tried and had coloured I ended up hating, however thankfully I was in love with the second stamp that I chose and loved how it turned out once I had coloured it.  From there the card quickly took form and I am thrilled with how it turned out.  I created 4 of the same card to add to my stash of Christmas cards.

Here's the challenge that I followed along with:
