Christmas Card Challenges #7

Hey Everyone!  Thank you so much for stopping by to visit.  I am very excited to be back with another card to share with you.  The Design Team over at Christmas Card Challenges has truly outdone themselves with this one, their cards are sooooo amazing!  I cannot believe I get to design alongside these incredibly talented women!

This weeks challenge is:

This colour scheme is amazing!  When I first saw it I knew right away that I had a paper pack that would match these colours perfectly, and from there my card was born.  Its not often that I create a card with no stamping, so I thought that I would take advantage of this and use no stamping for this card for a change.

Here's the front of the card...

Here's the side of the card...

Supplies Used

Paper Trimmer - used to cut the card base, the main image, and the background paper
Tim Holtz Scissors - used to cut the double sided tape, and ensure that the boarder strips were flush with the card base
Exacto Knife - used to position the gems onto the card front
Bone Folder - used to fold and crease the card base
Double Sided Tape - used to attach the background paper, and the boarder strip to the card front
Foam Tape - used to add dimension and raise the main image on the page
Gold Gems - used to help embellish and add some more shimmer to the card front
Pattern Paper Pack - DCWV Cranberry Christmas - used all the parts for all 3 layers of this card
White Cardstock - used for the card base.

Thanks again for stopping by!  Please leave me some love in the comments section!

    1. Thanks so much Susan! It was fun to create a card without stamping and colouring for once, and just let the papers be the stars!
